The business was originally established by Peter M. Donohue in 1900 and operated by him until 1931 when it was incorporated under the present firm name. At that time Mr. Donohue’s son, James and oy E. Halverson joined the firm, with Mr. Donohue retiring from active business but continuing with firm in an advisory capacity….
The new building is a two-story structure of brick and cinder block construction and is equipped with an up-to-date plumbing show room and a complete department of gas and electric appliances…”
